Students obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in Class XII and securing a rank in the regular merit list.

Eligibility for applying:
Students qualifying in Class XII in 2010 or 2011 in Science Stream. The cut-off percentage for INSPIRE fellowship of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) to be used for the boards for Class XII are given in http://www.inspire-dst.gov.in/Inspire-Advertisement.pdf. Those candidates passing Class XII in 2011 and who are recepients of the eligibility note from the school board for DST Inspire Fellowship may also apply. Cut-off in the above link does not apply to such students. For OBC (non-creamy) and PD, a 5% relaxation of the DST cut-off is tenable subject to a minimum of 60%. The cut-off for SC/ST is 60% for all boards.
All state/central board students must also qualify in the IISER Science Aptitude Test.

Reservation policy of Government of India will be followed for admission to IISERs.
